Scientists Announce Discovery of Key to Destroy Cancer Cells

Several scientists have confirmed that they have found the "key" that could lead to the destruction of cancer cells in the body, in a breakthrough they claim will revolutionize disease treatment. According to the American network "Fox News," researchers at the Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of California have identified a protein on the "CD95" receptors, located on the surface of cancer cells, which can "program" cancer cells in a way that helps to kill them.

The study team has dubbed the "CD95" receptors as "death receptors" because they send a signal that leads to the "self-destruction of cancer cells." The lead author of the study, Dr. Juginder Tushir Singh, stated, "Previous efforts to target this receptor have failed. However, in our study, we determined the protein present on the surface of these receptors, which can be precisely targeted and activated to destroy cancer cells. This could create a breakthrough in treating this malignant disease."

Experts hope that cancer drugs can be developed in the future that enhance the activity of "CD95" receptors and stimulate them to destroy malignant cells. They noted that these drugs could assist patients who are already receiving anti-cancer immunotherapy, as they significantly increase the treatment's effectiveness. Immunotherapy treatments for cancer, such as T-cell therapy, have shown promising results for a subset of patients, but their effectiveness is limited against many types of cancer, such as breast, lung, and prostate cancers.

Scientists confirmed they now plan to begin clinical trials on these drugs that target "CD95" receptors to ensure their effectiveness.
