Turkish media reported today, Thursday, that a "Turkish cargo ship sank in the Sea of Marmara off the coast of Bursa and efforts are underway to rescue its crew." Anadolu Agency stated that "Turkish rescue teams continue to search for six missing individuals from the crew of a 69-meter-long cargo ship that sank in the Sea of Marmara off northwestern Turkey's coast." Bursa Province Governor Mahmud Demirtaş told the agency: "Search and rescue operations are ongoing, and it is believed that the missing crew members are Turkish citizens."
