A British woman suffered from pain and heard strange noises in her ear, only to be surprised during an examination with a scope when a live spider was found that had made a nest inside. Lucy Wild initially thought the pain was due to earwax, but during the examination, she saw a spider with long legs inside her ear. She added, "After the doctors removed the nest, I developed a severe ear infection." She continued, "I spent my thirtieth birthday in the hospital. All of this because of a little spider."
