The Jerusalem Post reported today that a letter addressed to the Israeli ambassador was found near the explosion site that occurred outside the Israeli embassy in New Delhi. Two individuals were captured on CCTV near the explosion area, and a letter written in English with "abusive" language directed at the Israeli ambassador was also discovered nearby.
According to India Today, "the letter was wrapped in the Israeli flag, discussing Israel's actions in Gaza and referencing 'revenge'." The group calling itself "Sir Allah Resistance" has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
The area where the letter was found was cordoned off for a brief period after the explosion but was reopened later. A team from the National Security Guard arrived at the scene on Wednesday morning to investigate the incident.
