Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan pointed out that "law and justice have fallen victim to the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip," accusing Western countries of being complicit in the bloodshed in the area. In a speech delivered at the opening of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum on Friday, Erdogan stated that "the international community must fulfill its duty to the Palestinian people by establishing an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders." He added, "We in Turkey continue to present ourselves as a guarantee for peace in the Middle East."
