The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bou Habib, following his meeting with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó in Beirut, indicated that "we want to show the land borders and the Israeli withdrawal from Shebaa Farms and Kfarshouba, and to stop violations, and there are no disagreements among the Lebanese on that." Regarding the visit of the American envoy Amos Hochstein to Beirut, he said, "If Hochstein comes, he has something, and if he delays, then he has nothing more." Bou Habib clarified that "there is a dialogue between us and Hezbollah, and the party always says that the state is responsible for negotiations" concerning the southern land borders.
