A parliamentary delegation from the "Strong Republic" bloc visited the Public Prosecutor, Judge Ghassan Oueidat, and handed him the complaint prepared by the bloc regarding the forensic audit in the Central Bank of Lebanon. The complaint was delivered by MPs Ghassan Hasbani, George Okais, Ghada Ayoub, and Razi Al-Hajj. Okais stated from the Justice Palace, "We demanded that the forensic audit file be under the direct supervision of the Public Prosecutor." He considered that "the Lebanese judiciary has the opportunity to hold the corrupt accountable and all those mentioned in the report during this time of economic and banking collapse, and we have carried this trust with our complaint to the Public Prosecutor." For his part, MP Ghassan Hasbani said, "The Alvarez and Marsal report shows the extent of the violations and scandals, and there will be attempts to obstruct this file, and everyone must be subjected to a comprehensive judicial investigation."
