Iraqi News Agency reported today, Tuesday, that Oil Minister Hayyan Abdulgani received a message from the American engineering company KBR to join the Nebras petrochemicals project in the country. This announcement comes after Shell stated in February that it would not proceed with the project in southern Iraq as part of its review of operations in a sector that has seen a sharp decline in profits over the past few years.
