Iran Takes Necessary Measures to Continue Production Growth

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi directed the government's economic team to "take necessary measures to continue production growth during the current year 2024." During a meeting he chaired on Saturday, which included a group of ministers and economic assistants, issues and needs of the production sector were discussed, along with an assessment of the latest conditions of agricultural, industrial, and mining production units. Ministers and deputy heads provided reports on measures taken to meet needs and resolve issues across different production sectors. It was also decided to continue enhancing and developing production, improving the performance of production units, and taking necessary actions while coordinating between various ministries and administrations to maximize the use of available resources and meet the financial and energy needs of these units in the country throughout the current year 2024.
