Attorney Fadi al-Masri won the position of Head of the Bar Association in Beirut with 1,973 votes, a slight lead over his opponent, attorney Abdo Lahoud, who received 1,950 votes. The Bar Association announced today, Sunday, the names of the winners for membership in the Bar Association Council in Beirut: Labib Harfouch, Abdo Lahoud, Fadi al-Masri, Eli Akleemos, Iskandar Elias, and Waje Ma'sad, with candidate Iskandar Najjar serving as an alternate member. In Tripoli, attorney Sami al-Hassan won the position of Head after his opponent Safwan Al-Moustafa withdrew. Ibrahim Harfouch also won a seat on the Bar Council.
