The governors of the Russian regions of Oryol and Kursk stated today, Tuesday, that "a woman was killed in Ukrainian shelling of the Kursk region, and drones attacked a fuel facility in the neighboring Oryol region amid an increase in cross-border attacks." Kursk Governor Roman Starovoit said in a statement: "A woman was killed due to shelling in the village of Zurnal close to the border with Ukraine." Starovoit and the Russian Ministry of Defense noted that "the air defense systems shot down at least five drones over Kursk today." Meanwhile, Oryol Governor Andrey Klytchkov pointed out that "two drones hit a fuel facility, resulting in three injuries."
