Launch of Iranian Sedan Car Sales in Russia

The first Iranian sedan car, "Iran Khodro Dena+", has appeared in the Russian market, considered a key competitor to the Russian-made "Lada Vesta NG." The starting price for the new car is 1,449,000 rubles, according to a report published by the Russian website "Autonews.ru" on July 26. The Iranian vehicle is based on the 36-year-old "Peugeot 405." The sedan's dimensions are as follows: length 4558 mm, width 1720 mm, height 1460 mm, and a wheelbase of 2671 mm. The "Dena +" exported to Russia is equipped with a 1.7-liter turbo engine that produces 150 horsepower and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, with a maximum speed of 205 km/h. Among the features, buyers of the "Khodro Dena +" will receive central locking, a sunroof, heated seats, rearview mirrors, rain and light sensors, parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, air conditioning, and "ABS and ESP" systems.
