Five-Nation Ambassadors Reaffirm Priority of Electing a President

Ambassadors from the Five-Nation Committee held a meeting at the Qatari Embassy in Beirut. The Qatari Embassy stated in a release that during the meeting, current developments in Lebanon were reviewed and the presidential file was discussed. It noted that "the ambassadors reaffirmed the priority of electing a president of the republic and expressed their continued support for accomplishing the presidential election as soon as possible."
