America Intercepts Missile Launched from Houthi-Controlled Area in Yemen

The U.S. military announced in a statement that it "downed a ballistic anti-ship missile launched from an area controlled by the Houthis in Yemen today, Friday," adding that "there were no injuries or damage as a result of the interception." The U.S. Central Command reported today that "Iran-aligned Houthis launched a ballistic anti-ship missile toward the destroyer Carney (DDG 64) in the Gulf of Aden." They added via X platform: "The Carney successfully intercepted the missile. No injuries or damage have been reported."
