Sheri Adel posted on the short stories feature of her personal account on Instagram, saying: "The official separation between me and Tarek has occurred with all respect between us. May God write good for each of us in our lives." This was the same message that Tarek also shared on his Instagram account.
Sheri and Tarek got married in October 2022, but the marriage lasted for just over a year, as Sheri deleted all the pictures that included them from her social media accounts about four months ago. Despite this, both parties remained silent and did not comment on the news of their separation until the official announcement today.
