A video clip of Israeli writer Avi Lipkin went viral on social media, in which he predicted that their borders would extend from Lebanon to the Sahara Desert, specifically Saudi Arabia, and from the Mediterranean Sea to the Euphrates, provoking widespread anger. In the video, Lipkin stated in media remarks: "I believe that our borders will eventually extend from Lebanon to the Sahara Desert, that is, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and then from the Mediterranean Sea to the Euphrates."
He added: "Those on the other side of the Euphrates are the Kurds... So we have the Mediterranean Sea behind us and the Kurds in front of us... and Lebanon, which really needs the protection of Israel, and then I believe we will take Mecca, Medina, and Mount Sinai," according to his claims.
