Title: Kosovo: Armed Individuals from Serbia Plan Further Attacks

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated on Saturday that "armed individuals supported by Serbian security forces are being trained to carry out new attacks on Kosovo following the September assault that resulted in four fatalities." Serbia, however, denied the existence of any such plans. During a press conference, Kurti mentioned that "Milan Radojcic, a senior Serb politician from Kosovo, is planning further attacks," adding, "He is currently preparing for additional assaults on our country and regularly meets with high-ranking officials from the Serbian security services." The head of the Serbian government office for Kosovo, Petar Petkovic, called Kurti's claims "false," insisting that "the allegations that Belgrade is preparing for an attack are sheer lies." On September 24, a group of 80 armed individuals attacked Kosovo police in the village of Banjska near the border with Serbia, resulting in the death of one policeman and three attackers. Radojcic had admitted to his involvement in the armed clash in September.
