Gantz Threatens: We Will Operate in Southern Lebanon as We Do in Northern Gaza

Israeli war council member Benny Gantz stated on Wednesday, "We are working on changing the reality on the northern front, and the Lebanese government must determine whether it can protect its citizens or not." In a press conference from Tel Aviv, he said, "We will operate in southern Lebanon as we do in northern Gaza if Hezbollah's attacks continue." Gantz emphasized, "Continuing our presence in the Israeli government as long as we are needed, and we are not a political tool in anyone's hands," following reports about the possibility of his resignation. He added, "Recovering the captives in Gaza is Israel's absolute priority."
