Syrian media figure Adeem Khouli, father of artist Qusay Khouli, passed away today, Tuesday, after suffering from kidney failure in a hospital in the province of Tartus. The Ministry of Information and the Journalists' Union in Syria mourned Khouli's death. During his long career, Khouli held several significant positions; he was the deputy editor of the newspaper "Al-Baath," then the editor-in-chief of "Tishreen," and later appointed as the editor-in-chief of "Al-Thawra." He also served as the deputy head of the Syrian Journalists' Union. Syrian accounts on social media mourned Khouli, wishing him mercy and forgiveness, and offering patience and solace to his family.
