EU Allocates 5 Billion Euros for Military Aid to Kyiv

The Belgian presidency of the European Union announced that member states agreed on Wednesday to provide a military aid package to Ukraine worth five billion euros, as part of the revival of a fund managed by the Union. Belgium, which currently holds the rotating presidency of the EU, stated in a post on the social media platform X that the ambassadors of the EU's 27 member states approved reforms to the funding of the European Peace Facility at a meeting hosted in Brussels.
