French envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian continued his tour of meetings with officials today. In Haret Hreik, he met, accompanied by French Ambassador Hervé Magro, with the head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, at the bloc's headquarters. Also present at the meeting was Ammar Mousawi, the official in charge of Arab and international relations at Hezbollah.
Afterwards, Le Drian headed to Mirna Chalouhi, where he met with the head of the "Free Patriotic Movement," MP Jibran Bassil, and left without making a statement.
From Mirna Chalouhi, he moved to Saifi, where he met with the head of the "Kataeb" party, MP Sami Gemayel.
Le Drian is scheduled to meet at the Pine Palace at one o'clock with MPs Mark Daou, Michel Douaihy, and Waddah Sadek. He will meet with the "National Moderation" bloc at five thirty.
