Britain Launches Air Surveillance Patrols Over Israel and Gaza

The British government confirmed today, Tuesday, that the Ministry of Defence will conduct air surveillance patrols over the eastern Mediterranean, including operations in the airspace over Israel and Gaza. The government stated that the aircraft will be unarmed and will not have any combat role, being solely tasked with identifying the locations of hostages. It added that only information related to the rescue of hostages will be provided to the relevant authorities responsible for their liberation.
