Iran: We Do Not Seek War, But We Will Not Leave Any Threat Unanswered

The Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, referred to some threats from American officials, stating: "We tell them that you have tested us and we know each other; we will not leave any threat unanswered." In his speech today, Wednesday, during the commemoration of the "24th anniversary of the 24,000 martyrs from Tehran," General Salami pointed out: "These days we hear some threats coming from American officials. We say to them that you have tested us and we know each other; we will not leave any threat unanswered. We do not seek war, but we are not afraid of it, and this truth prevails in our society." The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps added: "The sword of jihad is the guarantor of our glory. We are not war advocates, but we defend ourselves and our greatness."
