Morning Shelling in the South and Illuminating Bombs Over Border Villages at Night

The area south of the Litani River has become an open front where Israel practices its violations using various types of weapons. The latest incident was an attack on a vehicle on the road to the town of Bazourieh, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, injuries to another, and significant damage to the electricity network and agricultural land. This morning, alarm sirens sounded at the eastern sector command center of UNIFIL in Abl al-Saqi. Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted the surroundings of the towns of Aitaroun, Maroun al-Ras, and Yaron in southern Lebanon. Throughout last night and into this morning, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft did not leave the skies over the districts of Tyre and Bint Jbeil, flying at very low altitudes, posing a threat to both human and vehicle movement. Throughout the night, the Israeli army dropped illuminating bombs over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line. Just before midnight, the Israeli army fired heavy machine gun fire from its positions overlooking Mount al-Labounah into the forests next to the Blue Line, located at the edges of the towns of Alma al-Shab and Naqoura.
