The Iranian Statistics Center announced a 4.2 percent growth in the country's GDP, excluding oil revenues, during the summer period from June 22 to September 22, 2023. According to data from the Statistics Center, which was followed by "Fars" today, the Iranian GDP recorded 2,190 trillion rials when including oil revenues and 1,850 trillion rials without oil (the dollar rate on the government "Nima" platform is 377,000 rials). It was reported that the GDP with oil grew by 7.1 percent and without oil by 4.2 percent compared to the same period last year in 2022. Furthermore, it highlighted the growth of economic sectors in the country during the summer, stating that the agricultural sector decreased by 3.2 percent, while industries and mining grew by 8.7 percent (including crude oil and natural gas extraction at 25.6 percent, mining at 1.7 percent, manufacturing at 2.6 percent, energy down by 6.3 percent, and construction down by 2.9 percent) with services increasing by 7.5 percent compared to the summer of 2022.
