The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that it targeted Kiryat Shmona Airport. In a statement released, it said: "As part of the second phase of operations resisting occupation, and in support of our people in Gaza, in response to the Zionist massacres against unarmed Palestinian civilians, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted Kiryat Shmona Airport in our occupied lands today, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, using drone strikes, affirming our continued efforts in striking the strongholds of the enemy."
