The Russian Fertilizer Producers Association indicated today, Wednesday, that "Russia is expected to increase fertilizer production by 10% next year, following a recovery that could bring production and exports back to 2021 levels." The association mentioned in a report that "if the capacity utilization levels remain the same, the country will produce 64 million tons of fertilizers next year, up from 59 million tons this year." Russian fertilizer exports have faced some issues after the West imposed sanctions on Moscow in 2022 due to the war in Ukraine, making it difficult for international banks to process payments for Russian suppliers.
