Title: Geagea: Political Struggle is Much Harder than Military Struggle

The President of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, confirmed that "military struggle during the war was easier than political struggle, despite its difficulties, miseries, and tragedies, although I am against the military phase unless absolutely necessary." His remarks came during a question-and-answer session at a press conference organized by the People's University and the Northern Metn region regarding Bashir Gemayel, under his patronage, in the Rabweh area. Geagea dedicated most of his talk to Bashir Gemayel, discussing his history and key events during the time he was alongside him. Geagea stated, "In military struggle, matters are clear; the enemy's position is also apparent, and their project and intentions are declared, which is not the case for us. War unfolds on this basis. However, in political struggle, the problem lies in lies, hypocrisy, and deceit, where both your opponent and your friend, as well as those in between, declare one thing and do another. Therefore, political struggle is much harder than military struggle, but the essence of life lies in political struggle, not military."
