Today, Tuesday, Prime Minister Najib Mikati received the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Frontska, at the Grand Serail. Frontska briefed the Prime Minister on her recent tour of the region and the mechanisms that allow for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. She urged all parties to de-escalate and work towards achieving diplomatic solutions.
