British Tennis Player Tara Moore Cleared of Doping Violations

The International Tennis Integrity Agency announced on Saturday that British tennis player Tara Moore has been cleared of violating doping regulations, after it was established that she bore no responsibility for any involvement in the violation. The agency stated that an independent tribunal concluded that contaminated meat consumed by the British player alongside Chilean player Barbara Gatica days before the sample collection was the reason for the substance found in her sample. Consequently, no suspension was imposed on either player, and the provisional suspension placed on both was lifted immediately, in line with the tennis anti-doping program. Moore stated, "I have never intentionally taken any banned substance throughout my sporting career."
