AstraZeneca: No Impact from Red Sea Crisis on Our Supplies

A senior executive at AstraZeneca announced to Reuters on Monday, ahead of the World Economic Forum, that the pharmaceutical company has not faced any supply issues so far due to disruptions in maritime traffic in the Red Sea. Rod Duber, head of AstraZeneca's biopharmaceuticals unit, stated at the Global Markets Forum, "We have specialists monitoring the situation continuously. But so far, everything is going smoothly." Duber declined to provide details about the company's supply lines due to the sensitivity of this information. He mentioned that AstraZeneca is intensifying its efforts in China as it is an "extremely important working environment" and that it has not shifted its focus to India, which he described as a difficult market to penetrate due to "extremely low prices."
