Ongoing Bombardment in the South... and Hezbollah Targets the Meron Settlement

Israeli drone strikes targeted the eastern forests of the town of Habbariyeh in the Arqoub area this morning, while aircraft flew at high altitude over the city of Hermel, as well as over the villages in the Jbeil and Batroun districts, and the coastal area of Metn. At 9:15 AM today, heavy artillery bombardment originating from Israeli army positions hit the forests of the town of Kounin in the Bint Jbeil district. There were reports of Israeli interceptor missiles exploding in the skies over border villages in the central sector of southern Lebanon. In response, Hezbollah announced in a statement that its members targeted the "Meron settlement with dozens of Katyusha rockets."
