He stated, "Attacks on civilians are violations of international law and constitute war crimes. The destruction and loss of life and injuries we have seen raise deep concerns," urging all parties involved to "immediately cease hostilities to prevent further escalation." Tinetti noted that "diplomatic efforts must be intensified to restore stability and protect the safety of civilians residing near the Blue Line.
