British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak indicated that "London's decision to participate in striking the sites of the Houthi movement in Yemen is a correct decision." Sunak, at a press conference, noted that "the increasing number of illegal attacks on commercial vessels is concerning, causing significant disruptions to the global economy and putting innocent lives at risk." He added, "It was right for us to take action to protect interests and lives alongside our allies; we have clearly expressed our condemnation of them (the Houthis)." He concluded by stating, "We will continue to force them to refrain from carrying out their attacks."
