Israeli government spokesman Eilon Levy stated today, Monday, that "the combat capability of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has been reduced by half during the Gaza war, as more than 12,000 of its fighters have been killed and a significant number have been injured or captured." The spokesman said, "We are talking about the elimination of three-quarters of Hamas' brigades... more than 12,000 terrorists have been killed." He added, "When you take into account the number of terrorists who have been injured or captured, this means that more than half of Hamas' combat effectiveness is no longer operational."
