Title: Officials: The Attack in Jordan Was Carried Out by an Iranian-Made Drone

Four U.S. officials told Reuters that "U.S. estimates indicate that Iran manufactured the drone that targeted a U.S. base in Jordan earlier this week, in an attack that resulted in the deaths of three American soldiers and injuries to more than 40 others." Washington has blamed the attack on Iran-aligned factions, but also stated that "Iran bears responsibility ultimately due to its support for these factions." This is the first attack that has resulted in the deaths of American soldiers in the Middle East since the outbreak of war between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in October. The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, did not disclose details about the type of the drone.
