It was claimed that an American passenger bit a flight attendant aboard a flight heading to Seattle on Tuesday, with All Nippon Airways. This incident forced the aircraft to return to Tokyo, according to a spokesperson from the airline. In a conversation with CNN, the airline's spokesperson stated, "The police arrested the passenger after the plane landed in the Japanese capital," without disclosing the passenger's name. The spokesperson also noted that the flight attendant suffered minor injuries. Flight ANA 118 departed from Haneda Airport in Tokyo at 9:47 PM local time and returned shortly after taking off, according to flight tracking website Flightradar24. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police declined to provide further details on the case.
