Victory of "Al-Ahed" Over "Al-Borj" in the Top Six

The defending champion "Al-Ahed" won against "Al-Borj" with a score of 3-0 today, Wednesday, in the match held at Fouad Chehab Sports Complex in Jounieh. This was the opening of the second phase of the top six "leading group," for the teams that finished in the top six positions at the end of the first half of the 63rd Lebanese League season. The goals for "Al-Ahed" were scored by Syrian player Mohamed Al-Marmour, and Hussein Daqiq, with Karim Darwish converting a penalty, in minutes 46, 74, and 90. "Al-Ahed" had previously drawn with "Al-Ansar" 1-1, while "Al-Borj" had a goalless draw against "Al-Najma" in the first phase.
