The British Maritime Trade Operations (BMTO) stated today, Wednesday, that it has "received reports of an explosion flash in the southern Red Sea, 40 nautical miles west of Hodeidah in Yemen." The agency added in a memorandum that "vessels and crews in the vicinity of the explosion are safe."
