Title: Bou Habib Meets Frontzka and Ambassadors of Britain, Qatar, and Greece

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government, Abdallah Bou Habib, met on Tuesday with the British Ambassador Hamish Cowell. They discussed regional developments in Gaza and Lebanon, with the British ambassador emphasizing the importance of Lebanon not getting drawn into the conflict and staying away from it. They also addressed several bilateral issues. Bou Habib reviewed with the Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Nasser Al-Qahtani, Qatar's efforts to assist Lebanon and elect a president for the republic, as well as the Israeli attacks on Gaza. Bou Habib discussed developments in southern Lebanon and Gaza with the UN Special Coordinator in Lebanon, Joanna Frontzka. Frontzka was updated by Bou Habib on the outcomes of his recent visit to New York. Bou Habib also met with the Greek Ambassador, Catherine Vontoulaki, in a farewell visit, marking the end of her diplomatic mission in Lebanon.
