Manchester United, competing in the English Premier League, announced on Tuesday the extension of England forward Marcus Rashford's contract until June 2028. Rashford, whose previous contract was set to expire in 2024, has played approximately 360 matches for United since making his debut in 2016. He has scored 123 goals in all competitions, including 30 goals in the 2022-2023 season, helping the club to secure a third-place finish.
The 25-year-old player stated on the Manchester United website, "I came to the club when I was seven years old, and I've had dreams ever since. I still feel the same drive, excitement, determination, and pride every time I represent the club." He added, "I've gained amazing experiences at this fantastic club, but there is still much to achieve, and I remain relentlessly determined to win more trophies in the years to come." He concluded, "I can assure you that I will do my best to help the team reach the level we deserve."
