First Ship Carrying Aid to Gaza Sets Sail from Cyprus

A ship carrying around 200 tons of food departed from a port in Cyprus early on Tuesday in a first-time attempt to launch a new maritime route for delivering aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip, who are on the brink of famine. The rescue ship (Open Arms) was seen sailing from the port of Larnaca in Cyprus, towing a barge that contains approximately 200 tons of flour, rice, and proteins.
