"For Special Circumstances": Iran Suspends Flights to Syria

The head of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization, Mohammad Mohammadi Bakhsh, announced the suspension of Iranian flights to Syria, attributing the reason to the "special circumstances" currently faced by Syria. The Iranian news agency ILNA reported that Mohammadi stated the flights would return to normal after an announcement from the Iranian Foreign Ministry, while also confirming the existence of "occasional" flights to Syria at present.
