Data from the operations room of North Sinai Governorate in Egypt revealed today, Friday, that "a notification was received to close Al-Arish Port to shipping and fishing boats due to weather conditions and high sea waves caused by strong winds." The state of readiness has been heightened at the main operations room and the sub-operations rooms in the city councils of Al-Arish and Sheikh Zuweid, as well as in central Sinai, Bir al-Abd, and the relevant services and agencies in the governorate, to address these weather conditions. The Al-Arish City Council reiterated its call to residents to "exercise caution and stay away from poles, tents, trees, and construction areas for the safety of the public, and to directly contact the city council in case of any complaints about the rain."
