"Using a Wheelchair": Deterioration of Artist Nagwa Fouad's Health

Artist Nagwa Fouad has been absent from the spotlight for a long time, with various reasons cited for her absence including health issues and neglect from production companies that have not cast her in new works. Recently, Nagwa Fouad revealed the reason for her absence in press statements, confirming that she is experiencing a deterioration in her health due to a spine problem.

Nagwa Fouad explained that she now relies on a wheelchair for mobility outside her home and uses a cane indoors. In her interview, she expressed her hope for prayers from kind-hearted people, as she is exhausted from the medications she takes to alleviate her spinal pain. Nagwa Fouad suffered from a herniated disc, which has forced her to step back from the artistic scene.

It is well known that Nagwa Fouad is an Egyptian theatrical artist, born on January 17, 1939, and she entered the world of acting through the avenue of belly dancing. Throughout her career, she has appeared in nearly 90 films, with notable works including "Street of Love," "The Virgin Prison," "By the Sword," and "Fleeing from Marriage." Among her famous television series are "Hind Al-Khashab's Dreams" and "The Daughter of Asyut."
