Syrian Armed Forces Clash with 'Terrorist Group' Attempting to Attack Military Site Near Idlib

The Syrian Ministry of Defense stated on Thursday that its armed forces engaged with a "terrorist group" that attempted to attack a military site near Idlib. The ministry added that they shot down three drones belonging to the group in the rural areas of Quneitra and Idlib and arrested one of its members. The statement indicated, "A unit of our armed forces operating in the southern Idlib countryside clashed with a terrorist group affiliated with the so-called Al-Nusra Front that attempted to infiltrate and assault one of our military points, resulting in casualties among its members and the arrest of one individual from the terrorist group."
