The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement today, Wednesday: "On December 16, 2023, the body of citizen P. N. (born in 1977) was found in his home located in the Nasim al-Bahr area - Aramoun, lifeless and drenched in blood, due to multiple stab wounds to the neck. As a result of investigations and inquiries conducted by the Aramoun police station, they were able, within a short period of time, to identify the suspect, who is named B. A. (born in 1997, of Syrian nationality). Through investigations, surveillance, and tracking, the mentioned police station was able to arrest him on December 19, 2023, after luring him and bringing him to the police station, where he confessed to his crime, stating that he killed the victim due to personal and financial disputes. The arrested individual was referred to the competent judiciary as per the directives."
