Minister of Education and Higher Education in the caretaker government, Abbas al-Halabi, inaugurated the Al-Shabaniyah Official School after its renovation, as well as the Naji Beyk Salha Secondary School building and the School of Educator Nabihah Ghaz al-Din in Ras Al-Matin, which were also renovated. Al-Halabi pointed out that "we have challenges ahead in the coming year, and if we all cooperate, we can overcome this phase despite the difficult outlook that we and the team at the ministry see, but with determination, we will get through it." He stated: "We have completed the official exams for the high school certificate in its four branches, and we had planned and completed preparations for the intermediate certificate; however, the Council of Ministers decided to cancel the intermediate certificate. Through the Educational Center for Research and Development and the ongoing curriculum development workshop, we aspire to enter an educational era that keeps pace with the overall technological advancement in the world and addresses the artificial intelligence that has begun to sweep through countries and traditional educational systems." Al-Halabi added: "We are looking forward, through the curriculum development workshop that has made significant progress, to establish a new, advanced, and more accurate educational evaluation system that considers measuring learning outcomes and serves as an alternative to the intermediate certificate."
