A spokesperson said today, Tuesday, that the United Nations Human Rights Council will hold an emergency session to discuss the incident of the Quran burning in front of a mosque in Sweden, following a request from Pakistan. The spokesperson for the council, based in Geneva, stated at a press conference that the discussion on the rise of religion-based hatred is likely to take place later this week.
