The Army Command - Guidance Directorate announced that "on March 1, 2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested two Lebanese individuals, (J.M.) and (M.M.), in the town of Makna - Baalbek for committing the crime of gunfire. There are several arrest warrants against the first individual for crimes including the killing of a security personnel member, throwing grenades on different occasions at army patrols, armed robbery, and assaulting citizens. An investigation has been initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
